We encourage those who consider Grace Church their spiritual home to tithe. Tithing (giving 10% of gross income) is a sacrificial effort on our part to express gratitude towards an all-loving God.

In Mark 12:41-44, Jesus shines light on the widow's contribution: all that she had were two mites. In verse 44, Jesus says “she, out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.” This passage has once been paraphrased as follows: As the woman was putting in her two mites, she exclaimed, “It's the last I've got, Lord, but I know I can't out-give You. And since this is all I have, I'd better give it to You, because I'm sure I am going to need some more.”

Purposeful money management starts with honoring God. Honoring God by tithing expresses to God that, yes, you can live without a portion in order to receive God's portion.

The tithes, offerings, and donations given to Grace Church are used to share the gospel and to support our ongoing ministry to our community and the nations.

Church Finances

In an effort to both encourage and inform our church family, we are making our monthly and yearly income and expense summaries available online. We hope this information will remind us to thank God for the resources He is currently providing through His people, show the specific ways that donations to Grace Church are being used to further the Lord's work through this church body, and encourage God's people to give generously and joyfully. We are currently preparing our reports through the end of the most recent year.
