The R4R took place in Mt. Pleasant, MI on Saturday, April 28. This race began and ended in Downtown Mt. Pleasant at the historic Ward Theater. The race began downtown Mt. Pleasant and followed a section of paved trails through a few of the city’s parks and trails.

R4R is perfect for runners looking to join their love for running with their desire to do good in the world. R4R has a history of helping others, raising money for those in need locally and globally. This year, 100% of the registration fees go directly to helping the under-resourced in Myanmar. Prizes and Age-Group Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the first place Men’s and Women’s Overall Finishers, as well as the winners of each age-group for both Men and Women. Age Group Awards will be awarded to runners ages: 10 and Under, 11-14 years, 15-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50 years and over. As the race gets closer, age groups may be adjusted based on those who are registered. We will be sure to let you know of any changes prior to race day.

On race day, we will recognize the Top 3 finishers in each age group and the winner of each age group (Men’s & Women’s) will receive an award. Because we’re running for a reason (raising money to help the under-resourced in Myanmar!), our awards/prizes will be simple. However, we still look forward to recognizing the hard work and speed of our competitors of all ages!
